Fees and costs
We handle personal injury cases on a contingency-fee basis. That means our attorney’s fee is a percentage of the money recovered for you, and you do not owe an attorney’s fee if there is no recovery. If there is no recovery, you will not owe attorney’s fees, but you may be responsible for repaying case costs the firm advanced, as explained in your written fee agreement.
Case costs are expenses such as filing fees, records charges, deposition costs, and expert fees. They are separate from attorney’s fees. In a lawsuit, a court may also order a party who does not prevail to pay certain costs of the other side. Your fee agreement explains how these items are handled.
